Renaming your bear gives it a personal touch and enhances your connection to your digital companion in Bear Arena. Follow these steps to rename your bear to your preferred moniker, keeping in mind the character limit and the need to confirm the change through a blockchain transaction.
Access Your Bears: Start by going to the 'My Bears' page on the Bear Arena website. You can access this page by clicking the 'My Bears' button located on the bottom bar of the interface. This page will display all your owned bears.
Choose a Bear: From your collection displayed on the 'My Bears' page, click on the avatar of the bear you wish to rename.
Click the Yellow Pencil Icon: On your bear's detail page, find the bear name section and click on the yellow pencil icon next to the current name. This icon is typically located right beside the bear's name.
Write Preferred Name: Once you click the yellow pencil icon, a pop-up will appear with a text box. Enter the new name you desire for your bear in this text box. Remember, the name must be no longer than 24 characters to ensure it fits within the game's UI.
Press the Rename Bear Button: After entering the new name, click the 'Rename Bear' button within the pop-up. This will prompt a confirmation dialogue or a transaction request.
Confirm the Transaction: A confirmation window will appear in your connected wallet, asking you to approve the transaction that officially changes the bear's name. Review any transaction fees involved and confirm to finalize the renaming process.
Transaction Processing: Once you confirm the transaction, it will be processed on the blockchain. This may take a few moments depending on network congestion and transaction fees.
Check Updated Name: After the transaction is successfully processed, return to your bear's detail page to see the updated name displayed. Your bear now officially has its new name!
